Stew and I sat down last night and made some goals for our family. Number one on our list was to be more consistent and formal in our Family Home Evenings. We have been trying to do FHE but really have been lame at it because at best it was CRAZY. Our kids were just too wild and too young to follow along so we would just dance to primary songs, have a gospel discussion over dinner, or have an extra long scripture study on Monday nights. But time has passed and our kids are a bit more mature. We realized that we needed to start real Family Home Evening now so it will be become an ingrained family tradition and so our kids can gain their own testimonies even in their very early years. So thanks to the advise of my great friend Amy we have decided to start using the nursery manual to do our Family Home Evening lessons. They are so great. Not only are they fun but also so easy for us to use and geared perfectly for little ones such as ours. Tonight was our first week using the manual and we loved it. I just wanted to pass it on to any of you who are looking for easy toddler friendly lessons.

That's a great idea! :0)
Good for you. That manual is a great resource for lessons for toddlers. Keep up the FHE! It can be totally crazy at our house too, but it's worth it. And, they are learning even when they're jumping and getting into things.
