Summer Vacation: Malibu Beach

The beach was so much fun. After Yosemite we were really tired and not really feeling up to the beach but we packed up and went anyways and we were so glad we did. The kids had been talking about how we were going to go to the beach for the past four months and were so excited. Which is funny because they are so afraid of the ocean...but they seem to love it anyways. :O) We saw a bunch of dolphins and a seal swimming in the surf and that was pretty cool. . It was sunny and beautiful. Stew and the kids built a sandcastle and a wave came and crashed it to pieces and the wave grabbed all their sand toys and pulled out into the water so we had fun retrieving all the toys we could find. The seagulls were not shy at all and we come up to our cooler and steal food out of it so Benjamin became our seagull chaser. He was not going to let those mean birds steal our food! :O) It was a wonderful day in the sun. I am already wishing we could go back.
