It seems like such a benchmark to reach five. I remember so clearly when I turned five. I was so pleased that I was an entire hand big...five whole fingers! I remember the day Bridger was born. It is will always be one of the best days of my life. To think it has been five years it is odd to me because it seems too short when I consider how much life we have lived in that time and yet it has all blown by so quickly. Anyways, its time to talk about the Bridger!
For his birthday we took cupcakes to school which is so the in thing to do. :) After school we took the kids and one of his friends to Jump-man-Jump which is an indoor jumping place and they had a blast. After they had burned off all their energy we came home to our decorated house, did a treasure hunt to find his new BIKE!!!, had dinner of: make your own pizzas, fruit salad, chips, and root beer. After we did cake and ice cream and THEN he opened his lat two gifts: light sabers for him and Ben and a big wheels race ramp thing. He had a wonderful time. I know he wished he could of had a ton of friends over but I think it was still a big success!

Bridger boy has always been such a source of joy, fun, and happiness for us. This year he has grown up so very much. It is so fun to watch him grow up into his own little person. Here are a few things we want to remember about our newly turned five year old Bridger:- He loves making his own books. He gets a stack of paper. binds them together, draws pictures on each page and then has us help write the long story. Then we read it at story time for the next couple days.
- He loves making up his own songs and will preform them for us all the time. They are usually things like "Happiness forever", " Jesus coming down from Heaven", "Everybody likes Me" they are very sweet songs. :)
- He loves learning and going to school. He delights as thing become easier and easier for him.
- He lovesStar Wars .
- He still has endless energy.
- He says, " I am always hungry" and that is pretty much true.
- He and Benjamin are becoming better and better friends, they have wrestle wars hat sort of freak out the mom but they are giggling and having a very brotherly time so she has to just take a deep breath and let it go. :)
- He has an endless imagination
- He still loves to cuddle and will curl up with mom and dad and read books or watch a movie or whatever and loves it.
- He loves to cook. Often we'll find that he has made lunch for himself and his siblings. He sets the table and fills their plates with sandwiches, lots of crackers, fruit, and he never forgets to get everyone juice too....he actually does a really job with it.
-He loves playing with his little figurines, action figures, and stuffed animals
